Here's the thing most people miss in the launch copy. Claude for Small Business isn't a new pricing tier. Flip on Claude for Small Business inside Claude Cowork. It's a switch in the Cowork interface. If you don't have Cowork, sign up at claude.com first.

Authorize the tools you already use. QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack. Each runs through OAuth. You authorize once.

Pick a task. Claude reads your data, drafts a plan, asks for your approval, then runs it end-to-end. Nothing sends, posts, or pays without your nod.

Common traps.

  1. Skipping the approval gates. They're the safety net. Read every plan Claude proposes before you hit approve, especially on the first run.
  2. Connecting every app on day one. Start with the two or three you actually use daily. Add more once a workflow is running clean.
  3. Treating it like ChatGPT. This isn't a chat window. It's an agent that reads your real data and proposes real actions. Give it the context it needs.
